We connected, but it did not work out. She responded by telling me those properties would not pass VA standards, then offered me a home $2000 over my budget. I sent numerous emails to Wayne Norris via the MLS with properties in his budget and slightly over. $2000 over budget should not have been an issue since most properties sell below their asking price. There were few properties in his budget that would qualify for VA financing. Having experience as a mortgage lender, I am acutely aware of the requirements for both VA and FHA financing. I do my best to spare my clients the cost of an appraisal only to find out the property will not qualify and the Seller will not make the required repairs due to the expense. I do my utmost to protect my client's interests and check books. I have invited Mr. Norris to drop by my office to discuss his review. To date, I have not heard from him.
