After graduating from Auburn University (BS and MBA) I went to work for IBM in computer sales and marketing. After four moves Pat and I found ourselves in Greenville, NC, where I was Manager of the local IBM office for twelve years. In 1993 I took an early retirement from IBM and with two partners started an IBM Business Partner firm. In 2005 we sold our firm and became employees with a larger firm from which I retired in 2008.
