Anna, I appreciate your feedback, however, we are not the ones holding your deposit. Your deposit was held by the owner I do not have a deposit to retain nor do I manage this property this is a property managed by the owner. I did, however, verify with the owner that documentation was provided from multiple professionals that were engaged to evaluate the pet odor left in the unit along with documentation of you acknowledging and apologizing for the odor. You were also given opportunities to have carpets professionally cleaned, which the owner appreciated you doing so, but even that did not resolve the odor. Unfortunately, the only option the owner had was to replace the carpets (that cost well exceeded the $1600 deposit). Again, the lease indicates the owner is holding the deposit so I do not control disbursement of funds that I do not have in trust.
