    Matt, Thank you for your kind words about me as a landlord. I am sorry that you are unhappy with your deposit refund. Please call me anytime to discuss it. Apartments rented from me are among the cleanest one can rent. The apartment you rented had been remodeled, freshly painted and you lived there for less than 18-months. Although an effort was made to clean the unit, you have admitted that it was not 100%. Unfortunately, the list of items that needed to be cleaned added up. You were not charged for any holes in the walls you filled in, but you were charged for the time needed to remove the excess patching compound from the walls. I will also note that a large quantity of very stubborn sitcky tack was used and removing it was very time consuming. Returning an apartment to proper condition for each new tenant takes time and money. If a Tenant does not take care of this completely then the apartment is restored at the Tenant’s expense. This was stated in your lease.
