I have had the great fortune to have 2 careers that I LOVE. I was in the United States Air Force for a total of 23 years with a 2 year break from 2000 to 2002. I returned to active duty under the voluntary recall program after the heartbreaking tragedy of 911. I was allowed to serve 2 more wonderful years and returned back to retirement status in 2004. My husband retired in Dec. 2010 after a 30-year career in the USAF as well.
