It doesn’t seem to me they care if the listing got rented or not. Hi Garrett, I just reviewed the communication between you and RES and here's what I found: -Lease began 6/29/2023. -No communication to/from regarding the property until 12/21/2023 where you said "We are going to go ahead and cancel our lease as soon as possible." You cited mice as the reason. -RES immediately responded by assigning a pest control vendor to eradicate the issue (Alpine Wildlife Control). -This was not good enough for you and your ensuing emails were all very lengthy, threatening to sue us, etc. etc. -Our conclusion is that you intended to break your lease and used an alleged "mouse infestation" as a red herring argument, assuming it would mean you could walk away without any penalty. In fact, I found that other communication from you indicated your willingness to take down your negative reviews in exchange for money. -Mice are not uncommon to be spotted, particularly in areas such as the 6965 Peyote property (where there are commonly deer walking through the front yard.) Our responsibility is to ensure quick and effective action if there are any mice present, and that is what RES did in this case. The rest of the review is full of false or misleading information, we will leave it at that.

Hello, we are not sure who you are or what property you rented. Our first question is "why would you rent a property that smelled bad?" We do not own the properties we manage, and we cannot control if owners will or will not agree to do things like replace carpet at turnover (though we always encourage them to if they are at the end of their useful life or if there are pet odors.) Based on your review, it sounds like you were evicted. There certainly must be more to the story here. It's worth noting that RES does not control crime; you mention the area and gun shots, etc.
