As is true of anyone contemplating a switch to a new company, the details of the switch remain confidential until a final decision is made. I made this client aware of my brokerage change as soon as I possibly could and before she signed a listing agreement. It is true that I did not personally have a buyer seeking a home of the size, style and price range of this property during the course of the listing. It was a local colleague who actually procured the buyer and we had a successful closing. This is not uncommon. It is why we have a co-broke system in place in the real estate industry. Regretfully I now have a client who was less than 100% satisfied with their experience. I cannot change this, only learn from it.
