I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. While I always welcome constructive feedback, I must respectfully correct several inaccuracies in your review. For clarity, I have not worked directly with you since September 2022. However, I want to address the concerns you've raised as they reflect on my work and reputation. You were provided with clear expectations well in advance of your move-out date — 45 days prior — including a detailed checklist outlining standard move-out tasks that you signed and agreed to, which is consistent with industry norms and ensures fairness for all tenants. This document was not a surprise, nor were the items on it excessive. Many of the issues cited were discussed openly during your lease, and in several cases, you confirmed agreement with the responsibilities assigned as this was signed when you gave notice to vacate. I can provide you another copy if you wish. Regarding the deposit, deductions were made based on documented issues following the final inspection. Records were shared with you, and the process followed legal guidelines. Deposits are not guaranteed refunds and are contingent on the property's condition upon move-out. As for maintenance: when the water heater failed (2023), we immediately sought to resolve the issue— which is responsible property management. While I understand the frustration during such situations, this was not due to neglect but due diligence and availability of a licensed professional which was taken care of promptly . The air conditioning issue was similarly addressed as swiftly as possible within the constraints of contractor availability, which can be challenging during peak season. The yard maintenance expectations, such as raking landscape rocks, were clearly listed in your lease agreement. These are standard upkeep responsibilities for tenants in single-family rentals in this region especially when the gravel landscape was spread over sidewalks and driveway indicating you or your guests were parked on the landscape. The parking issue was not a personal accusation, but a concern raised by the HOA with an official notice of non-compliance. As a property manager, my office is obligated to address those complaints and your responsible to comply with HOA rules and is part of your lease. I understand moving, especially across state lines, comes with its own stresses. That said, I take pride in being transparent and communicative and was not aware of your unhappiness as it was never brought to my attention until now. I will be more than happy to see how I can address any concerns you may have if you wish to have a conversation with me instead of my staff. Thank you.- Desiree Barton, Qualifying Broker
