For this particular luxury apartment complex, there is an income policy in place to ensure applicants can afford the rent they apply for in order to avoid potential eviction for non-payment that can potentially damage their future applications. This review is posted from a disgruntled tenant applicant who was denied for not meeting income thresholds for a luxury rental I partially own. This was not my client! Income is not a protected class and is therefore a false accusation which I take very seriously. It’s never personal to deny an application and I do wish this applicant the best at improving his financial circumstances and application going forward.
