Lisa, in real estate, verbal commitments do not take place. The contract is signed and has to be abided by both parties and can only be changed if both parties agree in writing, so unfortunately, moving the closing date and possession date to better fit your timeline was not an option in our scenario. I apologize the timeline did not work out for you, but that was out of my control and the sellers control. Thank you!
