I'll just start by saying I'm definitely no stranger to slander, and it’s quite unfortunate how twisted this story got. Perhaps she forgot the whole “Zillow and its partners record all calls for quality assurance” when fabricating this, and I do wish she actually posted the text message, it was very professional and not “nasty” but I did tell her I cannot ditch my clients who made actual plans with me and whom have shown further commitment to this process by submitting their financial info to any lender, the one I recommended or otherwise, and then to send me homes to see as she promised. I told her there are always homes in the program and she should send me the ones she wants to see, she said she would and she never did, so from Thursday to Saturday I was already booked with other clients who have taken the necessary steps by getting preapproved & sending me the homes they want to see... She essentially ghosted for 2 days and re-appeared an hour before she expected to see the homes she hadn't sent me. I did make plans Thursday to show her homes without a preapproval, but after 2 days passed and she didn't send me any homes to schedule, not only was my schedule full, the schedules for these homes fill up fast in this low-inventory housing market coupled with COVID not allowing overlapping showings, and so I told her I cannot work on such short notice, nor ditch my clients who made actual plans with me and shown more commitment to the process by getting preapproved. She told me the application went to spam, which has never happened ever, and luckily I have e-mail tracking to see it was clicked/opened multiple times before she claimed she didn't receive it, and some other things she said were clearly less than honest and she would not verify anything. As for the whole her being a minority accusation, it would almost be comical if it wasn't a PUBLIC attack on my character, basically labeling me a racist... over half my buyers are minorities, and I have 3 buyers closing at the end of THIS MONTH, all of whom are minorities/non-white, in fact Asian, Mexican and African American, so whatever race this person is, it should be quite clear from my past and future closings that I'll gladly meet up with the whole mix, as long as they're willing to "help-me-help-you"... all my minority clients have great things to say about me based on the time effort and sacrifice I’ve put in for them, several of which have language barriers I worked through, whereas the person who wrote this review speaks, and types, fluent English... for all these reasons it's almost comical she pulled the race card on me, as neither race nor dialect has stopped me from giving people my 100%, and for the low-income discrimination accusation, I’ve helped low-income individuals close on affordable-housing homes in the past and I still work with them, I’ve helped people turn their entire financial lives around and buy a home, when they actually reveal their finances to my lender or get me in contact with a lender who has their financial info... this review came from someone who has never met me or worked with me and only spoke to me twice; because she would not meet me halfway on either of these essential steps, and since I am burdened with the decisions of who to work with, I did not meet up with her Saturday. All of this is well-documented if anyone is truly concerned in the future. I can see she connected with several other agents who clearly did not keep her as a client either, and I've learned to grow leery of people who say "all these other agents are calling me but I want to work with you"... this person's level of intention and transparency was simply not where it needs to be, and I’m only one person who can be in only one place at one time. I always expected “cancel-culture” would eventually come for me, as I WAS rated “Best of Zillow” before this review, that coupled with being the demonized young white male and achieving a high number of closings in a short period of time (many of which aren't even displayed on Zillow) accompanied by a high number of beaming reviews from satisfied customers, all that makes me a prime target for the rise of slanderous cancel-culture, which is a whole next level from what one may experience in adolescence, as it is an attack on your livelihood, not just meaningless social hierarchies amongst friends or peers. At least people I've actually met with who were more cooperative & serious about this process remember me going above-and-beyond working nothing short of miracles, and a high number of buyers in tough situations have said & will continue to say with certainty they would not have gotten a home in this highly competitive market without me and the work I do. As for this person, I still wish her the best of luck on her home search, and hopefully she begins to value the truth in not only her finances, but also in what she says about other people that try to help her.
