Hi Nicole, I am so sorry you had this experience. Our team has spent many months working with you advising and offering assistance. At the time when you purchased your home the market supported the sales price that you paid. The home was appraised by a third party appraiser as well. There are many homeowners who purchased homes during the height of the market that still have not appreciated much. This was an off market deal and there were many times throughout the process you were unsure and I suggested we keep searching for your perfect place. Then two weeks after you purchased it, you reached out to us to inform us you didn't like your home. I discussed many options on how we could help you sell it, rent it or just wait some time for the market to appreciate so it would be the best financial move for you. Our team even offered to reduce our compensation to help you out of the situation. In regards to your homestead exemption. When you purchased the home, the homestead waiting period for the homestead exemption was still in effect. It was not until shortly after your purchase the rules changed and they allowed owners to start applying for homestead immediately. Lastly the home inspection issue is the first we heard of any issues. At the time of inspection, the inspector found no issues with any of your appliances. This does not include washer, dryer and fridge as those are considered Non-Realty items. In the inspection package, you could always add those on if you wanted them inspected. Again, I am truly sorry you feel this way and as we spoke many times in the past, our team is here to help you however we can.
