It is the responsibility of the buyer’s agent along with the listing agent to inform/coordinate with the home owner to facilitate the time of the home inspection. Obviously you weren’t informed of the inspection time. I showed up, knocked/rang the doorbell numerous times, unlocked the realtor lock box and announced myself as a home inspector as I started the inspection. Your home appeared to be vacant. When you finally showed yourself, I explained that I was there to inspect the property for a real estate transaction. You never once said that you wanted me to leave, but did say you were upset with the real estate agents for not informing you. I’ve been conducting home inspections for more than ten years and would NEVER disrespect the wishes of a homeowner. If you had told me to leave, I would’ve done so. Instead, you left your phone number on the kitchen counter so I could call you when the inspection was finished. I have no idea what you’re trying to accomplish by lying about what really happened. By the way, I know both of the real estate agents involved with this transaction personally and they both vouch for my integrity. Please take this issue up with them. Thank You.

Your inspection was conducted over 3 mo. ago in Feb. with lots of snow on the ground in Cusik, WA. It is beyond the scope of a typical home inspection to remove snow, personal belongings, or use any destructive methods to inspect property. The undermined areas(outer edges of concrete floor) of the pole building were not fully visible during the inspection and are not a primary part of a pole building's structural integrity. It is common to have areas like that for this type of building. Foundation cracks, missing gutters, and leaking hose bibs were all noted in your inspection and can lead to structure settlement causing cracked grout which can lead to water damage in walls etc... These areas may have been hidden by personal items at the time of inspection or could've occurred before/after you took possession.
