    I have been a landlord for over 20 years and have had my fair share of ups and downs with tenants. I will say, I have high expectations of my tenants since I purchase very nice homes in neighborhoods that keep up very well with physical appearance. Unfortunately this tenant and myself did not get along because she let the majority of the grass die on my yard, let weeds grow almost 8 feet tall, and she broke the house's stove range. If I was not able to build successful tenant/landlord relationships, I would not have been doing this for such a long time. I always follow the rules and want as peaceful of a relationship as possible.
