Mr. Lezama had an unrealistic expectation that I could override tenant rights and gain access to an occupied rental property. He and I did not have a contract and he was not a client. I provided him with the information given to me by the listing agent, who worked in the same firm. The property had cash offers on the table, and I tried to communicate to him that time was of the essence, if he wanted to make an offer. My intent was to offer him the best advice available to me at the time. I regret he did not see it that way.
