In 1994 I graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Plant Science. In 1998, I was unable to find a calling for work so on a whim, decided to hike the Appalachian Trail end to end from Georgia to Maine. My nick name became Greenleaf. I had so much fun and quickly realized that I wanted to find a job that would keep me outside.
