Frank Scheer

Frank is the Curator of the Railway Mail Service Library at 117 East Main Street, Boyce, Virginia 22620-9639.   He owns and rents the adjoining two-unit apartment building at 127 East Main Street.  This building was the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone exchange for Boyce between 1936 and 1968.  During 1968, Boyce was the last non-dial community in Virginia with an operator-assistance switchboard.  After removal of the telephone exchange, the buil... Show more
