In 1993, after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in education, I left my Midwest roots for the deep South. While living in the South for nearly 15 years and starting a family, I discovered a love & talent for cooking. Though I don't spend quite the time I used to in the kitchen, I still can whip up something my Southern friends would describe as "So good, it'll make you wanna slap your mama!"
