Derrick, thank you for your feedback. I truly value all criticism, whether positive or negative, as it helps me grow. As your agent, my role was to guide you through the necessary steps to achieve your real estate goals. From staging the home to negotiating the contract, we communicated thoroughly to ensure success. I was able to sell your home in 5 days for 99% of the asking price which was the highest sale price in the neighborhood. It wasn’t until after the closing when you consulted an attorney, that you raised concerns about paying the buyer’s agent commission and how I should have negotiated for that fee to be waived. However, I had previously advised you about your options concerning the buyer’s agent commission at our listing appointment, and you signed a contractual agreement to pay it. My services were executed as promised and discussed at our listing appointment. However, despite the successful closing, I did not anticipate you would later have remorse concerning the agreement you signed. You always have the option to consult an attorney for all contractual documents if you lack understanding of their content. Again, I appreciate the opportunity to work with you and wish you all the best. In the future, I hope you’ll feel comfortable expressing your needs upfront, so you can be represented to your fullest satisfaction.
