    Being in and out of foreclosure since 2005, the Hallett's contacted us in July 2011 to short sale their home. There is no charge to seller for a short sale. If I would have known it was for the purpose of having their foreclosure sale postponed so they could live for free and waste everyone's time for 10 months I would have never taken this listing. Not only did we have the foreclosure sale postponed multiple times, We obtained written approval in Jan 2012 for the 1st and 2nd liens with COE date of 3/9/12. The Hallett's refused to close this transaction. They had no intentions of moving. Multiple delinquency caused their credit demise, not us. In closing we are hired as professionals and preformed as hired, worked diligently on this file for 10 months, obtained approvals and did not get paid. What a slap in the face trying to help these people out. And to think we were contributing part of our commission toward their HOA lien. Someone's always willing to take advantage of a good deed.
