Bought a Townhouse home in 2011 in Hastings, MN.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsAfter purchasing a home with Shelly, I wanted to list it less than year later. I can understand where Kim is coming from & why she is frustrated with the equity loss in her home. Many homeowners lost equity just like Kim. 1 year didn't allow time for the market to improve. It was a tough time for the Real Estate market. When you purchase a home you need to make it at least a 3-5 year plan. If she sold today, she would have recovered more of your equity out of her home. I advised her of the equity that she would loose if she sold in 2012 as I couldn't support the sale price she wanted. I didn't have any control of the market. I work very hard for my clients using my professional skills, including negotiations. I know the market very well. I have helped 100's of satisfied clients buy & sell their homes in the 13+ years I have been in the Real Estate business. It's unfortunate for Kim and I am sorry this happened. I continue to represent my clients with integrity, care & professionalism.
