I did not represent the buyer in this transaction and had no contact with the inspector. I did, however, work very hard to reconcile a very difficult inspection report which included a deteriorated crawl space. Unfortunately, the sellers were unaware of water damage and it did require costly repairs to remedy. I did not represent these sellers when they purchased the home and they did not get a home inspection, which would have identified these issues. In the end, the property was repaired and the home sold. I always recommend a home inspection to my clients. It saves valuable dollars in the long run.
