Hi Sharon. I'm sorry that the owner of the house for 117 Kenan St. did not approve the application for your children who attend UNC. I have records showing that I responded to your emails the same day. I also stayed late( after 5:30pm when we close) to help you, Ryan, and Katrina. That is the most direct service you can receive. Ryan and Katrina returned to the office on two separate occasions in which I helped them with questions myself. I spoke with Ryan personally when he stopped by to pick up the $1,800 deposit check refund. Finances are not the sole determining factor for approval. The owner was not willing to acquiesce or negotiate your requested reduction in rent, which was not true to market value, or the long list of items you felt should be addressed. Our application fee is non-refundable, which was communicated to you before they were submitted. I am sorry that it did not work out. I would appreciate if you removed your comment above (and also from Yelp). Thank you.
