This person never saw the home in person and requested all communication be done via email & text, no phone calls or FaceTime to see the home. Her husband selected the home, was involved in the details and understood that they were not purchasing a custom home but a spec home, and he was the only one who met the builders, home warranty company, and attended closing. She used her previous experience of buying tract homes and was frustrated that the inspector she hired found too few and too many items (somehow simultaneously) to be repaired - all of which were completed or scheduled to be completed by the builder or the home warranty. Multiple solutions were provided for improvements to the home or to delay closing until she was there in person to give her input, but she chose not to. It's unfortunate that she had this experience, when this was not the case between those involved in the actual home buying process.
