1. The rental asking price was $1975 not $1950. Trying to offer $1700 or $1750 with no supporting document would be a waste of time. 2. The landlord had already rejected a few full price offers of $1975 where the potential tenants did not meet all the requirements. So, a very low offer with no proof or supporting document would not work. 3. This landlord requires proof of income credit report with score, background check and No Pets. So, a very low offer with no proof or supporting document would be a waste of everyone time. 4. Every Realtor like to work with potential buyers or renter who contact them directly. Since, they would keep all the commission and not share with another agent. However, working with a potential customer who does not meet the landlords requirements, and does not have the required document would be a waste of time especially when there are multiple offer at or slightly below the asking price.
