I always jumped at any chance to spend time here as a kid and eventually spent my summers here surfing and waiting tables in some of the areas finer restaurants while attending East Carolina University. After graduating in 1986 I decided to have one more wonderful summer on the beach before jumping into the "real world" and now many years later...
