Amanda, I understand you may be frustrated, but you are not and have not been my client. I did not work with you for a week as you state. . You called and asked to see a rental I had listed. My client is the landlord. I have a responsibility to them. I also sent you a copy of the lease for review prior to our meeting. You had driven by prior to our meeting and walked the property and looked in the windows. You called me to say you would like to sign a lease. I asked you if you had pets. I was told you had one dog. Then during our meeting it was one dog and a cat. Then it was and we have a camper and an above ground pool. While I was agreeable to all of the above, when I read the terms of the lease to you two, your husband said he wasn’t comfortable signing because he was looking to change jobs in the next 6 months and would most likely break the lease. I could see the two of you were in disagreement. I suggested you talk it over and get back to me. I also had been very upfront that I had another applicant ready to sign but you had applied first. When you chose not to sign and revealed you would most likely break the lease I finished the application with the waiting 2nd applicant I am looking out for the best interests of my client. I wish you the best and hope you find what you are looking for. You have misrepresented me here. I never worked with you for a week. I never represented you.
