You have misunderstood. The owner never accepted an application for the Accokeek home, and has not rented the home. I never accepted an application on the owners behalf, as the owner is the one who decides to accept applications, and therefore I have not rented the home. The online application process is through RentSpree which charges $35 to go through the online application process. RentSpree does not share any of the fee with myself, or the owner. I do NOT charge, and have Not received ANY fees of ANY kind associated with this application process. The owner asked me to withdraw the listing from the MLS, as he wanted no further showings or applications, and I did. That was the owner's decision, not mine. The owner and I have been respectful and appreciative of agents for showing the property, and for their clients' interest. All agents who contacted me were responded to. All interested people without agents who contacted me directly received a reply email that included an update on the property, the explanation of “no pets” with no other minimum requirements, and the link to RentSpree to directly apply for the Accokeek home if they wanted to. All agents who showed had the opportunity to give their client the “live active RentSpree link” in the MLS listing, for the owner to consider their client's application. I have never received an application from you with your name on it. The owner considered every rental application submitted, and made the decision after careful consideration that there were no matches, therefore the owner never accepted an application, and the home is not rented. I called your agent offering a pleasant and informative three-way-call with you, and your agent texted stating he spoke with you and you declined. I have received from you a very negative review on a public forum that is Completely erroneous, and yet I have never been your Broker, you do not know me, and your agent stated both he and you are new to renting, so this subject is not to familiar to you. I welcomed your agent to call my cell to talk on your behalf if you'd like. Now that you know the above, please do the right thing and remove the very negative and completely incorrect review from the public forum. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
