The HVAC unit was inspected and found to be in good working order prior to closing; the seller stated that it had been serviced regularly. In lieu of having the seller make repairs, Mr. Jones received repair allowances/credits in the amount $4,250.00 to be used at his discretion. The handyman did the work identified and then some; Mr. Jones paid him without any complaints being lodged. If he was unhappy with the work, he could have withheld payment. Finally, at no time post-closing did Mr. Jones ever contact me expressing dissatisfaction with the handyman's work or notify me of any HVAC problems. I encourage the reader to take a look at the other reviews and you will see this one as an outlier.
