Hi Mary. I am truly sorry you feel this way. The owner had legitimate concerns with potential lead-based paint hazards (especially with the windows) coupled with a new born living in the space. And maybe you're confusing my client's space with another apartment application, but we never signed a lease; you simply gave a deposit to hold the apartment, we went through the application process, and the owner decided to not approve your application for a variety of reasons. And yes, the rental price increased because of the owner's mistake in legally having to include utilities (see the above review directly from the owner). I'm sorry we could not approve your application and good luck with your search.
