It all started with one man in a converted airplane hangar overlooking Lake Griffin. He sold Central Florida orange groves, commercial properties, and in 1969 his first home for $44,000. That man was my dad, Tom Grizzard.
As more and more families turned to my dad’s team for their Real Estate needs, our company outgrew one office after the next.

First let me start by saying that I’m sorry you and your husband Ken had a negative experience, but I think it’s necessary to share the entire interaction so readers can see why we chose not to do business with you and your husband Ken. By the way, all of this has been conveyed to our seller and full support. This whole thing stems from your husband claiming to be an unrepresented buyer when you’re not unrepresented buyers! That claim is false! Your husband made it very clear in his email to me. Here is a direct quote for your reference: “I have two different realtors that I work with. If I were to make an offer, I would likely have one of them handle it if the seller has agreed to pay the buyer's broker fee.” My response: “The good news is that the seller is offering buyer broker compensation, so now that we are clear on that piece…I take it you will be using one of your realtors to show the property. I’ve copied Misty on this email to expedite one of your realtors setting up the showing”. I go on to say: “You can either work with us within NAR guidelines and our company’s policy, or your agent can show you the property. “ Your husband’s response: “I'm not going to ask one of my realtors drive across the state to spend their Sunday holding my hand for a 30-60 minute showing.” (Funny I thought he was unrepresented??) My response: “But you are insisting that my agent go against NAR guidelines and our company policy to hold your hand on a Sunday afternoon.” Our company has an outstanding reputation in Central Florida and the communities we have served for over 50 years. I find it interesting and extremely petty that you chose to write this review on our Villages office Google page and your husband Ken posted his review on our Leesburg office Google Page. Why didn’t you post them on our company Google page? Was it because these petty reviews would be completely drowned out by all the positive 5-star reviews? Don’t worry I don’t expect you to respond to that question. Kristy and Ken, I sincerely wish you both the very best in your house hunting endeavors!
