The seller was verbally and emotionally abusive, demeaning from the start of contract negotiations. His home was under contract in 4 days, sold for above asking, and closed on time. The seller had moved out of state before closing. The attorney is responsible for "closing" the home and recording of the deed. The home is not "closed" until recorded. Realtors have no idea what time that will be. Attorney sent out email to ALL parties in the transaction at 4:45 day of closing saying deed was recorded. The seller found out it was "closed" the same time I did.
