Tara, To be clear, I wouldn't want to have publicized your late payments as you, yourself, have done here. Given that you have volunteered this information to the public, any reasonable person would understand that paying rent late is a hardship for the owner of the house you are leasing and deserves attention from me, the property manager. When asking you for the reasons for your late rent payments, it was only an attempt to understand your situation, and to convey this to the owner of the home. This would be helpful to know if you had an emergency, and to try to work with you and help the owner of the home understand your situation, as I do with all tenants. However, this was not the case for your situation; you never said you had a personal emergency regarding your multiple late payments. No words were ever spoken to you in a rude or condescending way. Additionally, all repairs that were needed were completed.
