I was surprised to read Marcus’ review. I’ll simply respond by stating that I sold this unit to the owners in 2011 and since then I have consistently rented the apartment. For over 14 years we've rented to numerous tenants who all took very care of the unit and were grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy and live in such a beautiful historic property. During all these years, the owner-landlord never made any deductions from the corresponding Tenant’s Security Deposit. She never had yo but unfortunately, this was not the case and Marcus should understand that that is what Security Deposits are for. Hopefully, he will take better care of the next or future properties he rents.
