Let me start by saying that it is so unfortunate to see this review because you are upset with the seller and taking it out on me. Now I feel I need to tell my side of the story to defend myself. Let's start at the beginning. This property closed on 3/26. As for the commission, the commission was split between multiple agents. For you to assume that I kept the 4% on the listing side is an assumption that unfortunately, you do not have the facts straight. The seller paid for a cleaning company to come out and they cleaned the home prior to your move in. When your agent text me on 3/31 and said the house has not been cleaned, my EXACT response to her was, "The seller said the house is very clean. She sent me several photos of the interior. Not sure why they think it is not clean." ~ It sounds like the seller hired a cleaning company to clean and maybe they did not clean as well as you may have liked. -- On 5/17 I got an email from your agent that said you found a dog carrier, a bike trailer without wheels and a carpet cleaner in the attic and you wanted the seller to come back and pick them up. My EXACT response to your agent was, "I spoke to Catherine and it appears her and David had several conversations as well as Catherine and Bobbie about the house without either of us being part of them. Catherine left several large ticket items per the request for her to leave them. She was not aware of the items in the attic. The home closed almost 60 days ago and she said she is done and not going back to the house. Thank you." ~ I never once responded any more than what the seller's response was to me and I was never rude about it. ~ My understanding from the seller was you all had multiple conversations and visits to the house through the entire process and even exchanged recipes, phone # 's and email addresses and were making several arrangements outside of the agents. After reading your review I am afraid that the breakdown in communication is between you and your agent as the way you said I responded is simply not accurate or true. ~ I wish nothing but the best to you David and Barbara.
