I am sorry but I think you have the wrong agent. I have never listed any Suttons Bay condos, Dockside or otherwise. Also, I never ask clients to perform improvements as the Return On Investment (ROI) is typically pretty low. The important thing is to declutter, clean it up and depersonalize so that prospective buyers can see themselves living in the house.

Taylor and his partner attempted to rent an apartment from me. They requested keys even though the unit wasn't ready. For us to give it out keys we require a signed lease and a security deposit. Taylor and partner signed the lease, a legal binding contract and paid the deposit. He then decided that he did not want the apartment because I was unable to get the dishwasher that I did say I would have installed as soon as it came in. It was pandemic time and the dishwasher was on back order. (It took 6 months to get it.) Meanwhile Taylor decided he did not want the unit. I withheld his deposit as liquidated damages, as specified in the lease. I am sorry that it didn't work out but there was nothing nefarious or non-transparent.
