Dear Alberto, I’m sorry to hear that your experience was not great, but your feedback is an inaccurate recount of the events that took place. I went above and beyond to give you exceptional and professional service, and that is what you received. You and your wife were undoubtedly AND thoroughly educated in the buying process within my scope of services as a real estate agent for you to make informed decisions. Before submitting your offer, you leveraged my expertise when you were presented with a detailed Market Analysis showing you clearly that numbers were much lower than the asking price. You knew the market was hot, and competitive, leaving buyers to compete in a multi-offer situation, like in your case. Sellers set the price and buyers can or cannot agree to it. Regardless of my advice to wait for the market to cool off, or to be more conservative on your offer, you set the terms and price of your offer, and you choose to compete and won the house, as you wished. I explained to you in great detail the pros and cons of such an offer, I advised you countless times (in person, over the phone, via zoom, and through emails and texts) to really think through the offer you were submitting, I asked you to talk to your lender, which you did, to make sure your numbers would land where you needed and wanted them to be. I advised you to seek legal counsel before making your offer, which you did, you talked to at least two attorneys. If someone made this transaction stressful, was you, for not wanting to understand that the real estate industry has rules that I follow to the T. Also, a closing gift is at the agent’s discretion, which in my case also included a One-year Home Warranty for your new home. I sincerely wish you the best of luck.
