Bought a home in 2023.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsWe are military and moved here from Maryland, not knowing this is going to be a nightmare! Don't use this relator, and don't trust her agency if they have a house for sale. We ended up closing with them. The inspection people and the VA appraiser mis...Response from Christine Keller on 12/28/2023
Dear Andrea, I am truly sorry to hear that your experience was not what you expected. It's important to me that my clients feel supported and satisfied throughout their home-buying journey. I must note that there was no communication to us about any problems or concerns until after the closing, which limited my ability to address them proactively. As a military spouse myself, I understand the complexities and challenges that come with military relocations, and I strive to make this transition as smooth as possible for families like ours. Regarding the inspection and appraisal process, these are carried out by third-party professionals, and their reports are crucial in informing buyers about the condition of the property. While we furnish names of vendors as a courtesy to buyers, it doesn't constitute a warranty or representation as to the quality of the vendors, who are well-known reputable professionals in their field of expertise for our area. We encourage buyers to select vendors of their choice, diligently inspect the property, and review their reports, raising any questions during the due diligence period and cancel the contract if they aren't satisfied. We received no questions or concerns during or even after the inspection period to address these concerns. If these reports have indeed missed critical issues, this is a matter that should be discussed directly with the inspection and VA lender/appraisal companies who did the work. We have offered to meet with you to discuss these concerns in detail, and understand that this offer was declined. We respect your decision but want to reiterate that we are here to understand, support, and assist in navigating these challenges. We also suggested reaching out to the inspection company for a direct conversation, which we believe could be beneficial in addressing some of your concerns. Regarding your experience working with me, I apologize if my actions did not meet your expectations. Providing professional, attentive, and dedicated service to my clients is my top priority. I am sorry if there were any aspects of coordinating your transaction that seemed unsatisfactory. Please know that I am committed to helping you in any way I can. We are still willing to offer guidance or support, including connecting you with resources or professionals who may assist you. Your feedback is extremely valuable to me and is a crucial part of my ongoing professional development. I take your concerns seriously and will use them to improve the service I provide to all my clients. Thank you again for bringing these issues to my attention. If you reconsider and would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
