Hi Emily. It is always my hardest job with my duplex, telling an applicant that someone else will be renting the unit. I was shocked that more than 50 people applied for the unit, I am hearing it was one of the most desirable pet friendly units in town, perhaps that is why. I try hard to keep it nice. With so many applicants and only one unit it is inevitable that some really nice people, such as you, end up frustrated at the competitive process. I wish I had more units to rent I would definitely enjoy you as a Tennant, you, your husband and your dog all seemed great. Sorry it did not flow that way, maybe next time. In the meantime best of luck to you both.
