When this couple popped into the office that morning, I just knew I had to help them find a place to call their own. They had looked at "everything", so the first thing I did was start asking them questions about what they really wanted. As it turned out.... I knew a guy who wanted to sell, an old friend who had worked with me on several occasions and had told me that he wanted to sell one of his properties, but didn't want to list it, just if I had a buyer come along, to give him a call. I knew what he wanted, gave him a call and it was kismet for all concerned. After a little negotiation, we were able to put the transaction together and get the sale closed.
