Hello Nicole, Sorry to hear about your experience. I strive to keep a responsive and open line of communication with all my clients. If I remember correctly this was an issue that the building owner was taking care of for you. To add I did not take any money from you other than the credit application fee. All rent and deposits were paid to the owner directly. From my understanding, you could have moved in at your desired date and paid the owner for the utilities used until it was transferred into your name. I have called and emailed you and your roommate.
