Thanks Alyssa, I still sometimes refer to your old unit as yours! Anyone you recommend will always be considered, as I never had any complaints about you either. I had to check my records because it didn't seem like you could have been with me for 7 years but sure enough...let me know if you want to move back or ever need a rental reference.

The deposit wasn't returned due to the notice being only 4 days. Before leaving state, I repeatedly tried to get a time for a walk through. I get a text the day he left, expecting me to do it immediately. I was in the middle of something and 30 minutes later another text said keys were in my mailbox and he left to CA. The time to return deposits, is 45 days, I asked on Oct. 27th and got the address Dec. 18th, 53 days later, perhaps to avoid court filings. Nine days later emails about the deposit, I replied due to the lack of notice and mice caused by his uncleanliness, making me lose an immediate replacement tenant, I was keeping it. Now I'm faced with a review full of falsehoods while still trying to rent the unit. None of the claims about repeated requests for repairs were brought to my attention. I keep all my communication and can prove everything. I have the receipt from the exterminators, many witnesses to how the unit was kept and texts from the tenant I lost.
