A-Action did indeed perform a property condition inspection for the person writing this negative review. The inspection was performed on July 30, 2024 for her home that was built in 1966. The very detailed inspection report was 36 pages long and clearly stated that there was some aluminum wiring in the house. There was even a recommendation to have the exposed aluminum terminates at the devices coated with an anti-oxidant gal. The report was delivered to the complainant at the end of the inspection via email after going over the report with her “in person” at the inspection site. The report clearly stated that there was some aluminum wiring to a couple of components but not all the branch wiring throughout the house. If the complainant had taken the time to read through the report again during her option period, she could have asked additional questions related to the aluminum wiring. Having aluminum wiring to 250V equipment in the home is still legal in the codes today and was a very common practice in 1966. We regret that the complainant let an electrical company talk her into work that was not necessary before calling us for advice. There are plenty of bad service providers that take advantage of the emotions and inexperience of homeowners.
