The timber to be sold consists of all merchantable timber located within the sale area, consisting of 133 acres +/- of clean harvest and 30 acres+/- of hardwood SMZ. All sawtimber may be removed from SMZ while following state BMP guidelines. DDK foresters conducted a timber inventory in July 2025 by placing 1/10th acre plots on a 4x5 chain grid across the property. All trees within the plots were measured and recorded. In SMZ's only sawtimber values were recorded. Ton values were estimated using a conversion factor of 54 pounds per cubic foot for pine and 58.5 pounds per cubic foot for hardwood. Sale boundaries are designated with pink flagging, and the SMZ's are marked with blue paint and pink flagging.
