The Susie Creek Homestead is located just south of the historic Boulder River community of McLeod, MT. Heading east off of the main road, you will cross over the famed Boulder River and start up a two-track road to the property. Once on the subject property you will come across the old homestead that once was flourishing and remains the building location allotment within the conservation easement. Continuing past the homestead, you’ll reach the top of the ridge where you have a bird’s eye view of the Boulder Valley- from the Natural Bridge Falls all the way to Mcleod. Heading east along the ridge leads you to the head of Susie Creek, where you’ll find cool, clean water that at one point is collected and diverted into a livestock tank. This 775+/- acre pasture is split into two pastures via cross fence and is a main corridor for elk and mule deer traveling between the Susie Creek and East Boulder drainages.
