RENTER pays $150/month for utilities in addition to the base rent of $1800. No smoking in apartment or on property. The $1200 "tenant deposit" consists of a $1000 damage deposit, fully refundable if there is no damage, and a non-refundable cleaning fee. No pets allowed. Lease will be for 6 months, and then be on a month-to-month basis thereafter. Owner will accept a reusable tenant screening report. Basement includes a long hallway and two closets used by Owners for storage. Owners will not inform Renter if they intend to access those spaces, but of course will not access Renter's apartment, which has locks, without notice and permission. Tenant is required to compost and recycle, and use only septic-tank safe toilet paper.
