This is a beautiful historic home in Savannah. Open plan, but cosy, with a large double sitting room offering various spaces for relaxing or watching tv. Decorated with an English flair with lots of books, jigsaw puzzles and games to keep you entertained. The kitchen, which includes a dining area, is fully set up with Microwave, all appliances, Keurig coffee maker and for the baker, kitchenAid mixer and any pots and pans needed for cooking or baking. However, having said that, you are a couple of blocks from multiple restaurants and cafe's. Including the "best Burgers in town" from The Green Truck Pub. Whole Foods and Aldi are a few blocks away - there is a bit of a joke in Savannah that everything is about 5 minutes away. It seems to be true which is a lovely way to live after sitting in traffic for hours in many cities! The inviting back yard with a wrap around deck offers another dining area and comfortable seating areas to relax after a long day sightseeing or working. The garden has multiple fruit trees - fresh OJ anyone? - and jasmine bushes that have the most incredible aroma. It's a pleasure to sit in the garden listening to the birds sing away! Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The master bedroom with an adjoining dressing room and shower room. This is a large, bright, airy room. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and an adjoining dressing room with a desk where work can be done quietly. The family bathroom includes a cast iron bathtub with is lovely to relax in after walking around the city all day. Savannah offers so many beautiful sights, all much better than any picture can capture. Museums a plenty and of course the famous Forsyth Park which is 5 minutes away, with its Saturday farmers market on Saturdays and multiple events held throughout the year. This is a month to month lease agreement. Utilities are included with a cap of $250 per month for electricity. Normally the cost is around $100 so this would allow for full use of washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, AC or heating etc. If the monthly fee exceeds this an additional payment is necessary. I will consider small dogs but the whole yard is not fenced in. This could be addressed if necessary. There is a $50 deposit for each dog. There is absolutely no smoking on the property.
