And Kenitico comes out yearly to test and refill the minerals. -Central Heating, oven, stove, hot water is done with propane. I personally do not use the central heat (it works great) but propane is very expensive compared to pg&e. I use 3 space heaters and the whole house gets very hot during winter. I have used the fireplace during power outages and works great warming up the home as well! -Home is very privately located and we are on our on septic, septic lines were just redone.
