Charmingly rustic Log Cabin on a large, private pond with 120 acres. This is a wonderful setting among the giant stand of red pines overlooking your own private pond. We haven't fished here but the pond is open water and if it doesn't have fish you could easily plant pan fish or trout. The cabin is in good condition featuring a metal roof, wood stove, pitcher pump, loft and plenty of room for your crew. There is a storage shed with a nice, clean outhouse in the shed. There is also a log sauna that is in good shape. This combination makes this camp very livable off the grid. It also has some electrical wiring in addition to propane lights, set up for a generator. What a great place to hang your hat. The land is a nice mix of high, sandy uplands with giant pine, and mixed softwoods and lower ground with cedar, spruce and balsam. Prime hunting with state land adjoining for even more land to roam. The Norway Pine on this property are stunning and you won't find many stands nicer outside of Federal Forest Lands. Easy seasonal access under a mile off the plowed county road (and power) but also private and will make a great camp for your crew. This is under 20 miles to Ishpeming and just over 30 miles to Marquette so you are an easy drive for supplies. If you are looking for a log cabin on your own private pond with acreage you should view this one.
