The building is the original 1853 Pease Bridge Schoolhouse. The interior was gutted , wiring, insulation and roofing upgraded and water run into the building in the late 1980s. The roofing is in need again now. This has been a vacation destination for the current owners for the last 38 years. This is a private, quiet spot close to many of the outdoor activities that are available in western Maine. Hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, ATVing and snowmobiling to name a few.
